I grew up in the Riverland, spending long days playing outside, with the mighty Murray River as my backyard. As a country kid, I understood from a young age that community is everything. 

Early in my career, I lived and worked overseas for almost ten years. While I enjoyed the adventure, I couldn’t wait to come back. I knew that both my heart and my future were here in Adelaide. 

Now – as a parent and an established professional living in the East – I understand better than ever how much it means to belong to a strong and connected community.

We live in the most amazing place in the world. I would choose this community again and again, in any lifetime.

But we can always make it better. I want to bring my passion for our community to Canberra to achieve better outcomes for locals like us.
