Raising an active child means that every weekend, my husband and I are up early – coaching and umpiring junior netball and junior football, cheering on Niamh’s team.

Going for daily runs through Linear Park. We love enjoying, as a family, the awesome recreation opportunities our community has to offer.

Niamh is not my biological daughter, but I love her like she is. She is my husband’s daughter, and we raise her together full-time.

Becoming Niamh’s parent has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Ours is a unique family, just like yours… just like everyone’s. Parenting someone else’s precious child can be challenging. But it is also incredibly rewarding. I am so fortunate to have Niamh and Ben as the pillars of my life.

I want every family in my community to know that they matter.
