$54,725 to install new commercial grade ovens at the Altavilla Club in Beulah Park

Labor Candidate for Sturt, Claire Clutterham, has announced a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will invest $54,725 to install new commercial grade ovens at the Altavilla Club in Beulah Park.

The funding will allow Altavilla to upgrade their kitchen facilities, improving their ability to host community events, Italian cultural gatherings, and local celebrations. It will ensure the beloved community hub can continue to serve the community into the future.

Claire Clutterham said the investment was a recognition of the important role the Altavilla Club plays, as a part of the community’s proud Italian heritage.

“The Altavilla Club has been a cornerstone of our community for decades, bringing people together to celebrate culture, tradition, and connection,” Ms. Clutterham said.

“This investment will ensure the club has the facilities it needs to continue its fantastic work, whether it’s hosting community lunches, supporting local groups, or simply being a place where people can gather and share a meal.”

“The Albanese Labor Government is working to support community spaces like the Altavilla Club, and I’m proud to be part of a Labor team that is delivering for Sturt.”

Altavilla Club President Dominic Reppucci welcomed the funding announcement, saying it would make a significant difference to the club’s ability to cater for the community.

“This will allow us to upgrade our kitchen and continue serving our members and delivering events for our broader community,” Mr Reppucci said.

“The Altavilla Club has always been a place for people to come together, and this investment ensures we can keep that tradition alive.”

The investment in the Altavilla Club is part of Labor’s broader commitment to strengthening community infrastructure and supporting local organisations.
